We were very sorry to hear that our friend Rich Van Ess passed away last week. We met Richie for the first (and only time) in the summer of 2015, when he organized our gig in Tübingen, at  Hausbar M13, which turned to be fantastic. We spent with him just one day, but this was enough to have a clear impression of a gentle, intelligent, friendly and overall very nice person. We had the last contact with him by email only a few months ago, planning to do another gig in Tübingen. If that’ll ever happen in the future, it will be too sad to do it without Richie. Our thought goes to his family and his friends, in Tübingen and everywhere else.
